John Ford Clymer RCA (January 29, 1907 – November 2, 1989) was a celebrated American painter and illustrator. Deeply inspired by the American West, his work graced the covers of magazines like The Saturday Evening Post and Field and Stream. Clymer's paintings and illustrations are renowned for their historical accuracy and vivid depictions of Western life. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and received numerous awards, including the prestigious Prix de West.
